 Scorpion Racing Products announces the introduction of an important new product for high performance engines, Xtreme Break-In Lube & Oil Additive.

When a new or rebuilt engine is started for the first time, it is critical that Scorpion's Xtreme Break-In Lube & Oil Additive be added to the motor oil during the break-in period. This advanced new product contains dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP), which includes levels of zinc and phosphorus necessary to provide crucial anti-wear protection.

Scorpion's general manager and COO, Luke Whalen, states, "Due to recent U.S. government restrictions, today's motor oils cannot provide the levels of zinc and phosphorus included in our new Xtreme Break-In Lube & Oil Additive. These elements are absolutely necessary for proper engine break-in protection and will help to ensure that high-performance engines reach their maximum potential."

After break-in, Scorpion Racing Products' engineers also recommend that Xtreme Break-In Lube & Oil Additive be used at every oil change to extend the life of an engine. It has been thoroughly tested and is compatible with all petroleum-based mineral oils and with most current synthetic oils. Available in 4- and 8-fluid ounce bottles, this product is also compatible with high-octane gasoline, methanol and racing fuels. Note that this product is not recommended for use on vehicles with catalytic converters.
