Scorpion Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Scorpion Performance, Inc., a precision manufacturer of automotive and marine aftermarket engine components for high performance and racing applications, earned ISO 9001:2008 certification in January 2012 – Certificate Number QMS-0927. ISO 9001:2008 standards are recognized globally and are used by manufacturing and service organizations to create a standardized quality management system that is constantly monitored to ensure it conforms to the principles of continual quality improvement and customer satisfaction. The quality management system is applicable to design development support, manufacture, assembly, test and operational support of high performance precision engine components for a wide range of automotive and marine applications.
Scorpion achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification after successfully passing an audit of its quality management system and organizational structure by Intertek. As a leading global ISO certification body, companies around the world have depended on Intertek to ensure the quality and safety of their products, processes and systems for more than 127 years.

It is a relevant differentiator that provides increased credibility within the marketplace,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Luke Whalen, who led the company’s certification initiative.
